LEADERSHIP
The Junior League of Seattle is overseen and managed by two governing bodies – a Board of Directors and a Management Council.
The Board of Directors is responsible for charting the strategic direction of JLS and is responsible for planning, setting, and monitoring our League’s long-term goals. The Board serves to advise, govern, oversee policy and direction, and assist with the leadership and general promotion of the JLS so as to support the organization’s mission and needs.

The Management Council oversees the day-to-day operational organization and performance of the League. Managers serve as advisors to the multitude of committees that carry out the important work and programming of JLS. The League’s committees are organized into “wings” (Community, Fundraising, Membership & Training, and Operations & Communications).
