Spring Flower Fundraiser

Just in time for Mother's Day, or to celebrate parents, family, yourself, or just because! The Junior League of Seattle is excited to partner with the Washington Hmong Flower Cooperative to bring you bouquets of beautiful flowers. Pre-order yours today!

Cost: $35 ($25 benefits the Hmong Farmers Cooperative / $10 benefits the Junior League of Seattle). Pre-select to pick up your flowers from one of our convenient locations.

FLOWER PICK-UP

  • When: Saturday, May 10, 10 a.m.-1 p.m. at both locations

  • Seattle: JLS Office in Madison Park - 4119 E Madison St, Seattle 98112

  • Eastside: Bellevue Demonstration Garden - 15500 SE 16th St, Bellevue 98007

  • There will be limited bouquets available for purchase at both locations.

 

Pre-order deadline: May 1.
*JLS will also be selling bouquets as part of the Bellevue Demo Garden's annual spring plant sale. A portion of the flower drive proceeds will also benefit the Master Gardener Foundation of King County (credit cards only for flower drive; the plant sale accepts cash/check/credit cards).

ABOUT THE WASHINGTON HMONG FARMERS COOPERATIVE
The mission of Washington Hmong Farmers Cooperative (WHFC) is to provide WA state and other communities with direct access to locally produced foods and flowers while supporting the sustainability of our local Hmong farms and preserving their Hmong farming tradition. WHFC is a collective of direct market growers in the Hmong Community who have been selling our products at Pike Place Market and the region's farmers markets since 1982. WHFC has created this Coop to increase access to our products for anyone interested in beautiful flowers and fresh produce.

ABOUT THE MASTER GARDENER FOUNDATION OF KING COUNTY
The Master Gardener Foundation of King County (MGFKC) has been working in partnership with the WSU Extension Master Gardener program since 1984. Our Master Gardeners members are community leaders, planners, stewards, fundraisers, philanthropists, horticultural experts, educators, and technology professionals. MGFKC supports a variety of educational programs for residents all over the county.
