2010 RECIPIENT—MICKI FLOWERS
Micki Flowers has been active in the Pacific Northwest community for more than 30 years, volunteering as an advocate for non-profits, and as a mentor to aspiring journalists.
She spent over three decades at KIRO-TV, in various positions—weathercaster, reporter, news anchor. She may have been best known for her last position—Health Specialist.
